Andrew Kavaya
IT Support & Field Technician
Hands-on IT professional focused on networking, infrastructure, systems, and practical problem-solving.
About Me
I work across IT support, networking, infrastructure, systems administration, and field technology, with a strong preference for hands-on troubleshooting and building systems that are reliable, understandable, and maintainable.
My experience includes supporting end users, deploying and troubleshooting workstations, managing Microsoft 365 environments, working with networks and endpoint-management platforms, configuring hardware, and solving technical issues both remotely and on-site. I enjoy getting beyond the immediate symptom of a problem to understand what actually caused it and how it can be prevented from happening again.
I’m especially interested in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, automation, and cloud administration. I approach technical work methodically: understand the environment, gather evidence, make controlled changes, verify the result, and document what was learned.
I also enjoy improving the way IT work is performed. Whether that means creating a repeatable deployment process, automating a configuration, improving documentation, or simplifying support for the next technician, I try to leave systems in a better state than I found them.
I’m continually expanding my technical knowledge through real-world troubleshooting, certification study, lab work, and experimentation. My goal is to keep developing into a well-rounded IT professional who can not only resolve technical problems, but also design better, more dependable ways of managing technology.
